Just off the top of my head, I can say this, Cherokee 9722J is equipped with good IFR avionics, including moving map Garmin GPS, late model transponder with Mode C, ADS-B out, and numerous 337 modifications. Also, 4-place intercom and audio panel, dual VOR, and ILS. Electronic tachometer. Mods include wing tips with dual alternating recognition lights, the elimination of the prop spinner, and a recent manual pitch trim kit with a new cable, to name a few. The interior (seats) were reupholstered while the rest is serviceable.
The aircraft has been professionally maintained and flown regularly for a variety of missions including charter and instrument instruction for many years, then privately owned for the past several years, occupying the same hangar. The Annual Inspection is due on 7/1/24. Due to special modifications, the useful load is at a very strong 1044.3. All ADs have been complied with, including the wing spar inspection access + all major modifications have FAA Form 337 paperwork, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and logbooks are complete.
The engine, a Lycoming 0-360-A-4-A solid crankshaft (no vibration range) is approaching 2000 hours since the major overhaul. Considering the vital signs it is likely to be serviceable for some time, I would say 200 more hours or more, based on a lot of previous experience. In the winter, preheat was used for starting which helps.
Specifically, the equipment (all of which works) is as follows:
